Secure Inside

Security risks do not only come from outside of the company. The greatest risk is often internal, from your own employees. Viruses and hackers can find their way into your company through an employee's PC. The downtime resulting from virus infections and other security problems can cost companies plenty. That is why it is important to have a clear policy about the employees' roles and responsibilities: who has access to which systems and data, with which device and when.

But naturally, a policy has to be supported by a range of concrete measures, in order to protect both desktops and mobile devices against intentional or accidental compromise. Carrying out control measures through automated actions on the end-user's PC, laptop and PDA forms an important part of the internal security policy. A secure work environment leads to greater productivity and network efficiency, which in turn generates greater customer confidence and better business results.
