Wireless Networks

Wireless networks are generally an extension of the standard cable network, the implementation of which requires a prior meticulous study, taking into account the specific characteristics of this technology and the company's needs. This study integrates radio transmission concepts which are often little-known by network administrators, and has an engineering stage (including an on-site field study) which will condition the final performance of the solution used. As regards the wireless network administration, this also has specific characteristics which should be taken into account during such projects.

Finally, security is a major element that should be integrated when a wireless network is deployed because physical access to the network is made easier for employees, but potentially also for people who should not be using this network. There are several aspects to the security solutions: some are specific to the wireless element (radio encryption), others are identical to or derived from traditional network security elements (AAA, VPN servers, etc.).

Roaming / External Mobility

External mobility and roaming solutions have developed rapidly, largely due to the new technologies available in this domain. More than simple developments, the solutions offered enable work organisation to be rethought and greatly improve the efficiency of the company's teams.

Mobilising applications must meet four essential requirements, which Telindus helps you to achieve:
  • Security,
  • Simplicity,
  • Quality of Service: ergonomics, performance, availability,
  • Cost control.
